Captain★Rainbow (キャプテン★レインボー Kyaputen Reinbō?) is a video game for the Wii, made by skip Ltd., the creator of the Chibi-Robo! series and GiFTPiA. The game was only released in Japan, on August 28, 2008.
The main character "Nick" is able to transform into "Captain★Rainbow," a tokusatsu-styled superhero wielding a yo-yo that stars in his own TV show. Unfortunately, his TV show isn't popular anymore. To restore his popularity, Nick ventures to Mimin Island; an island where wishes are said to come true, he'll meet a vast array of past minor Nintendo characters with their own dreams and wishes on his journey. The game features a stylized cartoon look similar to Skip's other games.
