Ghosting Mater involves you trying to guide Mater to his junkyard while running away from "the Ghostlight". There are 7 levels in this mini-game. Clear them all and you'll win a sticker.

To play, you'll have to guide Mater through the yellow spots to gain speed. Directions are reversed; to go left, turn the Wii Remote right, and to go right, turn the Wii Remote left. As you run, your speed will gradually drop unless you go through a yellow spot. If you lose all your speed before you make it back to the junkyard, you lose.

Level 1[edit]

This is the first level of Ghost Mater and should be simple. It has you starting from the entrance to Ornament Valley - the junkward is close by. It should be pretty simple.

Level 2[edit]

For this level, you'll start at the entrance to Tailfin Pass. It's long, and can be hard because of how far the yellow spots are placed. Remember, practice makes practice.

Level 3[edit]

You'll start at the Cozy Cone Motel in this level. It shouldn't be too hard.

Level 4[edit]

This level has you starting close to Sarge's Boot Camp, and also has you driving through the Drive-In Theatre. As long as you know what to do, this level isn't too hard.

Level 5[edit]

You'll start at the canyon area and go past Sarge's Boot Camp. This level isn't way too hard.

Level 6[edit]

Here, you'll start at the canyon again, but in the other direction, leading you past an area of Fillmore's Nature Preserve and into town. This level is a little hard at first, but with enough practice, it should be easy.

Level 7[edit]

Here, you'll start at the entrance to the Drive-In Theatre. This is the longest level in Ghosting Mater and thereby the hardest. This will take some practice to complete.
