From Quake II, PC version, when you cross this bridge in the Receiving Center level, you'll suddenly become the filling in a Berserker sandwich. Equip the Chaingun, turn around, take a few steps backwards onto the bridge and open fire when you see the hatch in the floor open. When the Berserker rising up there is down, turn and deal with the one running across from the other side.
