Magicians[edit]
The two magicians in Heroes of the Lance are the most important character, because of the vast array of special powers they can use. In order to use their magic without risking their life, Goldmoon and Raistlin should be in the front line (upper row); only if absolutely necessary, they should be the active character (upper-left).
Goldmoon, the cleric[edit]
The Blue Crystal Staff can be a deadly weapon if used (literally, with the "Use" command) against the most evil creature.
If Goldmoon dies, her Blue Crystal Staff can be picked up by Riverwind, Caramon, or Sturm. It is impossible to clear the game without this item. The spells available only to Goldmoon are highlighted in green.
