The map[edit]

The map, when used, shows the overall layout of the level’s landscape in the form of squares that are often connected too each other.


Home Town[edit]

  • Each mission is based on a map consisting of square-like areas. The game mostly starts in a “home” town where you can get missions objectives and healthy items.

Areas[edit]

Some areas may not be able to be accessed by walking. These appear as areas that are not connected to the “main map” map. They can be accessed with the use of transport, such as a Jeep or blimp.

  • Sometimes there are buildings, ruins or caves which can be explored by letting the character come in contact with the door/entrance/hole. Some can only be opened or revealed with either a certain key or even a switch.

Movable objects[edit]

Some areas may have one or more moveable obstacles like bulders or crates. These can be moved by Indy, either to clear a path to an objective, or to be used to activate mechanisms when they are placed in a special spot.

Some of these objects can be used to even fill holes so Indy can walk across it.
