Megaquarium is a business simulation game created and published by Twice Circled.

Gameplay[edit]

Players are tasked with managing an aquarium by building fish tanks and populating them with various flora and fauna to attract paying guests. Predatory fish must be kept apart from their prey, and coldwater fish must be isolated from warm water.

Staff, hired by the player, manage filtration systems and maintain the aquarium. Customers must be kept happy by satisfying their food, beverage, resting, and toiletry needs.

Gameplay supports both campaigns (which doubles as a tutorial) and a sandbox mode. Zooming in fully allows players to experience their own aquarium from a first person perspective.

DLC[edit]

Three DLC have been release for the game so far.

Freshwater Frenzy is the first released DLC and includes additional freshwater fish to maintain. Bogs, ponds, and lakes can now be created as habitats. New fish include pirahnas and bettas. Water acidity and fish breeding have been added as new features, allowing new colour mutations for fish to appear. Accessories may be equipped on your staff to improve their efforts, while posters for various species can be placed in the aquarium itself.

Architect's Collection includes new saltwater fish, such as the ocean sunfish, decorator crabs, and the mantis shrimp. Bridges, tunnels, archways, and roofs allow for more advanced construction. More items can be painted, and a new gift shop item has been added.

Deep Freeze adds both arctic species like seals and penguins, as well as abyssal creatures such as the anglerfish and the goblin shark.
