Advanced Techniques[edit]

A great opportunity for the Drop and Jump

Drop and Jump: There are certain times when a coin is floating over an endless pit in between two platforms and you just have to get it. Simply drop off the ledge to grab it and jump to perform a double-jump and get out of danger.

Water Skip: When Hayate comes in contact with water he creates a splash, immediately press jump once again. You will have to keep pressing jump in order to stay afloat or you will sink like a rock.

Characters[edit]

Hayate[edit]

NS character Hayate.png

You are Hayate, the main character of Ninja Senki, and he is on a quest to get revenge on the ninja demon, Shiro, for killing his beloved Kinuhime. But as the story implies can avenging her death really bring her back? He is a blue ninja who attacks by throwing ninja stars at anyone who gets in his path. He is able to double-jump, with the second jump being a small hop, to get him to high locations. With his limited techniques, Hayate is able to overcome all obsticles in his way.

Kinuhime[edit]

NS character Kinuhime.png

Kinuhime is the princess of Hayate's clan and his love interest, but at the start of the game in the intro video she is killed by the ninja demon, Shiro. Her role in the game is pretty much the same as in all games with a princess, only thing is that she is dead, so it's up to Hayate to seek out revenge and rescue... err avenge her death. But can revenge really bring her back?

Enemies[edit]

NS enemy boss Shiro.png

There are many enemies throughout all the stages that stand in Hayate's way. These enemies include various mythological Japanese creatures, evil ninjas, and deadly bosses. These enemies must be defeated in order to advance to the evil ninja demon, Shiro, to get your revenge.

Items[edit]

Shuriken Coin
NS item Shuriken.png
The Shuriken, also known as a Ninja Star, is Hayate's weapon of choice. It is deadly enough to literaly explode your opponants into blood. It works great with rapid button mashing but only 3 are allowed on screen at once.
NS item Coin.png
Coins. They're made of gold and are waiting for you to take them, and who wouldn't want that? Each one is worth 10 points and each stage is full of them.
Door
NS item Door.gif
Doors, they have the same use here as they do in real life... well not really. These doors flash many colors and they mark the end of the stage. Touch it to get out of there and complete the scene.

Scene Intro[edit]

NS screen Scene Intro.gif

At the start of every scene, or every time you lose a life and start again, a screen pops up showing you the following:

  • the scene you are about to play
  • the phrase, "KATAKIUCHI BEGINS!"*
  • the number of lives you have remaining

*Katakiuchi means revenge or vengence
