Rhythm Heaven is a Nintendo-made collection of rhythm based mini games. Every game has a certain rhythm that you must follow to win the game. Games themes may vary from ping pong to golf. A standard for the series is remixes which become available at points in the game. They combine past mini games you already played in one challenge.

Rhythm Heaven Megamix is the 4th game in the Rhythm Heaven series. This is also the 3rd game to make it to North America. This game, unlike other Rhythm Heaven games, has a story line. Also unlike other games in the series you will not always see a remix after every 4th game like you did in the past series. This game also combines games from the past 3 games in the series with new ones, with roughly a quarter of the games in the main story being new.
