Starting off is the difficulty. Casual is for people who likes to walk through the story. Standard is just for people who is interested in balance between story and gameplay. Hardcore is for people who likes a tough challenge as any bad guy would show no mercy to you, forcing you to work hard to overcome the odds. Even though you can change the difficulty at any time, this walkthrough presumes you're doing it through casual difficulty.
Next is the cutscene though there isn't much to explain except for the cultural references. It starts off with the Star Wars intro on the history of The Saints (presuming you played those games in the past). Next is an ad of Pierce promoting a soft can drink. Then an intro of everyone getting ready to take the bank vault in Stillwater. You haven't revealed yourself yet but you're partnered with Johnny Gat, Shaundi and Josh Birk who in polite terms is a puzzling character that's obsessed with being Nyteblade, whether he's into action or just showing off to his fans.
Good Heists Gone Bad[edit]
Your team is stuck in Johnny Gat's costumes. You start robbing the bank when those people in black suits starts shooting at your team. This is pretty much the tutorial. So aim and shoot the gunmen before moving to the next area (with the aim assist on). After Johnny Gat open the door, continue through before going up the stairs and start dealing with black and red suits which turns out to be Morning Star later on. Your team but you would take off their costumes to reveal themselves thanks to Josh who couldn't breathe in his outfit.
On the top of the second stairs, a female fan wants you to sign an autograph so simply do it before you go to the icon to set off the bomb. A cutscene ensues the success of the bomb but Josh sets off the alarm and left the scene. Thanks a lot Josh! So stand your ground with your team and use any guns to take down the squad. Be thankful since the beginning the ammo for a few guns is infinite although they also need reloading as well. Look out for one with a shield so keep shooting until the soldier squad stumbles, giving you an opening to shoot him if you get the timing right. An enemy helicopter would come down to shoot the team. So use any but the shotgun to take that flying chopper down.
Helicopter Vault Sequence[edit]
The next part is you holding different parts of the vault while taking down the squad team and enemy helicopters. It's hectic so just aim at the soldiers and the enemy helicopters that comes and goes at each part of the sequence. Keep going until this sequence ends. This is meant to promote the Saints but there is more to this story that meets the eye. Continue this game to see how the story goes.
Who Am I?[edit]
No! It's not a Jackie Chan movie! Actually it's to create your character. You can choose the default creation or make it unique in your own way. Also, as an option, you can give your character a zombie voice. Unless you have a zombie translator, it can be hilarious to listen though Halloween hasn't come around yet. Be sure this is the character you want to be before you start on this journey.
