The object of the game is to shoot the red and white pinwheel targets that are on characters.

In Shooting Range, there are two modes of play:

  1. Normal mode, a game where the player not only has to be quick, but accurate.
  2. Party mode, a game that resemble a carnival shooting gallery.

Normal mode[edit]

  • Players: 1–4

In normal mode the player has to race against the clock to clear three stages by shooting targets placed on characters. To clear a stage, the player has to reach a target score, with the exception of Stage 3. There is also a bonus stage, where the player can earn bonus points. Normal mode also has three levels of difficulty, each reducing the amount of time thus making the game harder

The game is over if the player run out of time or runs out of energy.

After each stage the score summary screen appears. This screen show the score for each of the four stages and the total score.

Power-ups[edit]

In normal mode there are power-ups that can help the player.

Party mode[edit]

In party mode, the player must first shoot one of the flashing pink targets to activate the pinwheel targets. The player then shoots the pinwheel targets just like normal mode. The player repeats the process until time is up.
