The controls to PGRM are pretty simple and easy to remember. When drifting you should use 1/7 and 3/9 as this gives you Kudos. To line up the car after a drift, needed when your about to drift into a barrier, use 4 and 6 again. This should end the drift and you'll collect some Kudos if you didn't bump into anything. That includes going off the track. Note that there is no acceleration button.
