Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen/Saffron City: Difference between revisions

You won't get a badge for taking down this optional Gym, but you will get something just as good: One of two Pokémon that can be found nowhere else in the game.  Beating this Gym is still easy, though not as easy in the remakes as in the original.  The Pokémon used by the Blackbelts may be powerful, but all rely on the same Fighting and Normal style attacks.  That means a single Ghost-type enemy can take down almost everything without being hit; be on the look-out, though, for Machop's and Machoke's [[BP:Foresight|Foresight]] and [[BP:Revenge_(move)|Revenge]], which can easily take down a level 25 or below ghost-type in two hits, and Hitmonchan's [[BP:Firepunch|Fire Punch]].  When you've bested the Karate Master, he'll offer you your pick of his pets.
