*In the second part of the stage, both Ronin and Samurai shall come running towards Goemon from both the left and right sides of the screen; there's also a third Otafuku Mask, a Tea Gourd and a Peach that he can pick up and throw at them. A Transparent Ninja shall also always appear and throw three ''Shuriken'' throwing stars at Goemon - and as with the one in the first part, if Goemon pushes the barrel in the bamboo forest, it shall start rolling forwards, killing any enemy it hits for 800 points apiece. Also, if he strikes the location of the white circle on the above map, which is not in the actual game, with his ''Kiseru'', it shall cause a shooting star to fly across the sky for 8000 points; once he has reached the boss area the music shall change.

The bosses for this stage are a trio of old monks (known as the "Kabuki Brothers"); once they have appeared in front of Goemon, they will throw their wigs at him, growing replacement ones after a few seconds (and the wigs will bounce off the edges of the screen when they hit them). Although these are the only bosses that Goemon can kill by striking them with his ''Kiseru'' for 200 points apiece (there is also three more Otafuku Masks, three more Peaches, three more Fans, another Maneki Neko and an Omamori that he can pick up to throw at them in their area, but they are ''not'' regenerative), they can come back any number of times until he reaches the village - and once he has reached the village he will again distribute his collected gold over it, cause the lights in its houses to turn on and proceed to the third stage.
