Combat[edit]

Combat is set up on a grid. Your characters can only occupy one square at a time. Enemy bosses can take up more than one square.

The game takes place in turns. When it is the enemy's turn, all of their units' countdown timer will lower. If it is at '1' at the start of their turn, it will change to 0 and the enemy will activate, often using a special ability, moving, or getting into formation to attack with the help of another enemy.

When it is your turn, you can tap and hold on a character to move it anywhere on the board. When you begin moving a character, the timer for your turn starts to drain. If it reaches the end, your character will be frozen. It is best to plan your moves before trying to move your characters. Move your characters into formation to attack or use power-ups.

Attacking[edit]

You have to place a character on each side of an enemy to attack. Multiple enemies can be attacked if they are in a row. Bosses that take up four squares can only be attacked if characters on either side are in the same row or column.

Rewards[edit]

After every fight you may receive experience, gold, skill boosts, new party members, and items.

  • Experience: if you get enough, your character will level up. If you reach key levels, the game will announce what you have unlocked, such as a new skill, skill slot, or job.
