These discs are the primary hazard of this level, though they're easy to overcome with patience.

Jungle Rollers is similar in structure to the first level, with the addition of a new obstacle and a bonus round. Crash must simply walk forward along the linear path, defeating enemies, jumping over gaps, and avoiding stone discs which roll on rocky tracks. Wait for the discs to get to one side of the screen and then jump over to avoid being crushed by them; with their slow speed, this shouldn't be too difficult.

There is a Tawna bonus round in this level, which you can reach by collecting all three tokens from ? boxes. Here, you can get some Wumpa Fruit and extra lives, and save your game (or get a password) in the original game.

Getting the gem[edit]

In order to retrieve a clear gem in this level, you require the Green Gem which is located in The Lost City, or if you own the Japanese copy of Crash Bandicoot, Hog Wild. This triggers the appearance of a green platform in a tunnel blocked off by a wall of boxes; take the platform up to an iron arrow box, which can be used to reach some iron boxes. Above these boxes there are some Crash boxes.

Relic[edit]

Relic Time
Sapphire 1:03:00
Gold 0:48:12
Platinum 0:46:89
Instead of doing a second jump on the arrow box to reach this time box, hop off this platform with a jumping spin.

The key to earning a gold or platinum relic on this level is obtaining invincibility via the three Aku Aku boxes scattered around the first half. This speeds up Crash/Coco's movement considerably and allows them to completely ignore the timing of the rolling discs.

For segments of the level where invincibility is not available, do your best to squeeze between the disks as they roll along in order to keep up the momentum. In some cases, you may need to wait a second to be able to pass; when going for gold, this is acceptable, but for platinum, the requirement is essentially to never stop moving. Thus, when approaching discs, the best approach is to jump wherever possible, and when approaching enemies, either spin them away or jump over them, as jumping onto them takes too much time.
