Raid Groups

A raid group is a group of up to 40 players partitioned into subgroups of 5 players each.

Raid groups are mainly used in instances and battle grounds.

Members of a raid group can chat with eachother by typing /raid or just /ra.

Converting to raid

To convert a group into a raid group press the Convert to raid button on the raid tab of the social panel. You can open the social panel by pressing O or clicking the ! button at the bottom of your screen.

Promoting

You can promote members of the raid group to help you manage the group. This lets them invite other players and adjust group members.

It is a good idea to promote at least one player in case you get disconnected or you are just to busy to deal with everyone. To promote a member of the group right click their name in the raid tab of the social panel. You will get a dropdown menu, select promote.
