Internal battery failure

A problem found with this cartridge is that the internal battery can fail after a few years. The internal battery allows the game to save the user's progress. It is possible to replace the battery, but the cartridge must be opened and a new battery must be soldered in. The battery model is similar to a model CR1616, and can generally be purchased at electronics stores. However, the internal battery has small conductive tabs spot-welded to its exterior, making the battery difficult to remove.

Game's Plot

This game is awfully similar to the main Pokémon games, but instead of using Pokémon to fight, you use Pokémon cards to fight. In this game, you go around, getting medals from the 8 clubs, similar to how you get badges from the 8 gyms in the main Pokémon games. Your main goal is to get the legendary cards!
