We might actually be switching to an 800px fixed width in the future (replacing those 200px with additional functionality).  Haven't figured out an exact timeline, but setting the width that large may not come out properly after. -- [[User:Prod|Prod]] ([[User talk:Prod|Talk]]) 22:54, 15 June 2011 (UTC)

Alright, thanks. I've gone back through them and changed what I've found. Let me know if I left anything out, though. I'm always looking for ways to make them better- and it's kind of fun going back through these old games. : )

NOEDITSECION Theory

I have a hunch that adding __NOEDITSECTION__ to the top of pages actually helps against vandals, as they're very lazy in scrolling around. =P --Arrow Windwhistler (talk) 04:42, 7 December 2009 (UTC)

Ad suppression

Hey, noticed your message to Skizzerz about the ads. I think this in your CSS page should get rid of 'em.

#bannerAdBox {display:none;}
#towerAdBox {display:none;}

Cheers, — najzereT 00:32, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

Nothing T_T --Arrow Windwhistler (talk) 06:47, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
I dunno then, bro. "bannerAdBox" and "towerAdBox" are the ids for the two ad divs from a page source I looked at, and it worked for me when I tested it in my BlueCloud.css. You could try using {display:none !important;} instead, although that wasn't necessary for me. I assume you used Ctrl+F5? Oh well, good luck, maybe Prod knows of a better way. — najzereT 20:56, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
Noscript :D. Those two tags work for me. What skin and what browser do you use? -- Prod (Talk) 23:26, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
BlueCloud (that's the default one, right?) and Firefox. --Arrow Windwhistler (talk) 06:06, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

Multiple edit warnings

Hey, just a heads up – making multiple, rapid-fire edits is no longer a warnable offense. See {{consolidate}} for our new approach. BTW, did you ever get the ads sorted out? — najzereT 17:44, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

Warcraft III

Can you take a look at the human info on Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos/Undead units and clear out any that isn't useful to transfer over to the relevant human units and buildings pages? -- Prod (Talk) 06:57, 25 January 2010 (UTC)

Concerns about your edits

I know you're trying to help with cleanup and whatnot, but I feel that some of what you're doing is counterproductive. These are some things that I think will help both of us and the wiki as a whole.

  1. Put "subst:" in the beginning of message templates (e.g. {{subst:consolidate}}).
  2. Don't hide edit summaries unless they contain copyrighted material, offensive content or personal information, per SW:AG.
  3. Put cleanup tags above the {{Header Nav}}.
  4. Don't stub articles that have 10+ sections, all of which have content.
  5. Only use {{wikify}} to signify that the page needs wiki markup.
  6. Make your edit summaries meaningful and descriptive.

In general, sticking a bunch of cleanup tags on a page isn't all that helpful, especially when they don't include a reason. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I do hope you take these points under advisement. Thanks, — najzereT 17:50, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

I'll just leave cleanup to you =P --Arrow Windwhistler (talk) 18:57, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

Upcoming meeting

As a reminder, there is a meeting this Saturday, May 29, on IRC taking place at 2:00pm EDT (UTC -4). As always, agenda is available on the forums, so you may view it and suggest additions there. Hope to see you there! --Skizzerz 04:03, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

Deleted userpage

Have you disappeared? I noticed you deleted your userpage? -- Prod (Talk) 20:31, 10 April 2011 (UTC)

Centering images

It appears that |center now works in image tags (believe it was in 1.16 that it was fixed). The code produced is pretty much the same as what you changed it to though. -- Prod (Talk) 17:34, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
