I know I have not posted an image renaming request for 6 months...
Hi there, I'm KeybladeSpyMaster, editor at the Kingdom Hearts Wiki. I'm sorry if this isn't the appropriate place to dump this, but I'm not sure where else to put this. My understanding is that you have control of the SEIWA site (). I was hoping you could help me in my recent efforts to revive SEIWA, following yours, Tacopill's, and Sove's opposition to disbanding it. I've made a post on the SEIWA forums (which I can't link because the images to verify against spam don't load), which includes a link to a draft I made for the new SEIWA hub. Tell me what you think! I sure hope we could ultimately revive SEIWA so that it finally becomes the vibrant and complete alliance it was originally designed to be! == With regards to this post on Najzere's talk page, the "Pac-Mania Vandal" has returned! ==

According to the edit history of Started, he has used three more sockpuppet IPs since his second IP, User:76.228.225.174 was blocked for a year in March 2010 for the offending edits; User: 122.52.84.223, User:76.228.226.122, and User:68.225.40.136. He obviously still has not familiarised himself with the promotional flyers, and I do not take his edits lightly given that I was the one who created the guide for the game in the first place! So if you or another admin could please block these IPs for a year or protect the page in question so that only registered users can edit it, I would be most grateful.
Hello Moydow, thanks so much for helping me out with the box art pictures of the games. I will try to be more organized in my future edits for the box art. :As Procyon mentioned, a good place to begin would be by adding at least box artwork to a new guide's main page, and a short description of the game (both can easily be found on the game's corresponding page on Wikipedia, providing that correct attribution is provided). Hey Moydow. There's no need to delete old image versions if there's no copyright issue or oversight problem. It doesn't save any space (the file is still on the server since it can be undeleted), but it stops editors from reverting to a prior version if needed. Just wanted to mention it, in case you thought it was a maintenance task or something, since I've seen this a couple times now. Hello!! My (user)name is drkelflord and i would like your help with something.
Call for help - patrolling edits
You see, after touring this site and subsequently joining, I realized that the Final Fantasy Tactics page has a great deal of pages that are simply gone or missing(or never there)and i would like to rectify that. If you or anyone else could help me with this i would be greatly apreciative
Hi Moydow, this is a public service announcement for active admins. Our unpatrolled queue is hovering around 1500 and I am having difficulty keeping up with the queue. We need your help. If you have any spare time, I would really appreciate it if you could please take a look and see if you can patrol (thoroughly) anything. Some people take this as an invite to go to a page and click the patrolled link without doing anything - that's not what I'm asking. I need quality control. If you have any questions, please let me know. The URL I use to view the whole queue at this time is here (60 days old, hide patrolled, show up to 1800 edits). Many thanks, -- 20:32, 20 April 2015 (UTC)

:I'd help if I could, but at the moment I'm bogged down in college work and exams, and don't really have enough time to commit to this. I won't be finished for about 2-3 weeks. Also, congrats on the promotion. -- 16:39, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
:Sorry, but I won't be able to contribute to the guide, since I've never played that game. I can only advise you to take into account the messages I or other admins leave on your talk page, and also to look through the help guide for information on other aspects of contributing to StrategyWiki, such as uploading images. I would also like to mention that you should not post the same message on any more than one administrator's talk page at a time. I assure you, if any of the admins had content to contribute on Final Fantasy Tactics, they would likely have done so before, and certainly without needing prompting by other users. Thanks for understanding. -- 20:05, 12 March 2012 (UTC)

Duel Destinies
:No problem :) We actually had a pretty big attack by spammers recently over at the F-Zero Wiki, so I installed the QuestyCaptcha module for ConfirmEdit and some basic questions like "What is the (random number) letter in F-Zero Wiki?", and that seems to have stopped a lot of them. Does something like that sound like it'd be useful here? From what I've seen, the mathematical one is pretty ineffective, and that seems to be a good alternative. -- 02:28, 5 May 2012 (UTC)

When are you going to finish the editing on the walkthrough of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney- Duel Destinies? Yuval
:Whenever I get around to it. Leaving comments like "i did my job, now do yours" isn't going to make me do it any sooner, it just makes you sound ungrateful (particularly when your "job" consists of two images, and nothing of substance to the guide). Remember that StrategyWiki's editors only work on the guides in our spare time because we want to do them - it's not our "job" and we don't get paid for it. -- 23:03, 6 November 2015 (UTC)
Yes, I'm sorry. I will wait. But will you finish the walkthrough before Ace Attorney 6 will come out?
By the way, I did a good job with the editing there right? Yuval
:Since you asked for feedback, I'll be perfectly honest with you: not really.  Compare your effort to the amount of effort Moydow has made.  You added two images, which I left a message on your talk page about because you didn't include the proper categories when you uploaded them, and as of right now, you still haven't.  You added a sentence that was a) unnecessary and b) grammatically incorrect.  So, no, you didn't do a good job with the editing.  Understand that this is a wiki, and no one is required to work on any particular guide at any particular pace.  People are invited to contribute as much or as little as they feel like.  And stop forgetting to sign your posts.  <span style="color:red">Pro</span><span style="color:grey">cyon</span> 16:14, 7 November 2015 (UTC)

Image Discussion
Fates stats
It's Neo22. I've been trying to work on the image a bit, but is there a way to rename the file name or does the admin have to do that, if possible, could you change it so that the fire name for my sprite has a sprite at the end (Pokemon_Conquest_HeroMaleSprite.png) I didn't know what to name it other than the character you play as. Also for the pokemon, they each have their own art in the game, what name should I put when uploading the pokemon art?
When I'm listing the stats of a boss, do you think I should include the bonuses that they may get from items or skills? I'm not sure whether or not to do so. Lukey140701 (talk) 14:23, 24 July 2016 (UTC)

:"Pokemon Conquest HeroMale" is fine, unless you're intending on having several images of the same character (usually, more than one won't be needed). As for Pokémon art, we already have art for most Pokémon, except for Generation V (see :Category:Pokémon artwork). So, there's probably no need to upload art for all 649 Pokémon just for this one game. If you want to upload the art for the Generation V Pokémon, use the name format "Pokemon 001Bulbasaur.png", replacing "001" and "Bulbasaur" as appropriate, and place all in :Category:Pokémon artwork. -- 21:17, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

::There are different spirtes for the characters once they level up, but I wasn't planning on adding them because it would take up too much space on the page. As for the pokemon image, the art from the core pokemon games to Conquest are different, Compare the image of Eevee from the core pokemon games to Conquest and you can see they are different. Plus there's only 170 pokemon in Conquest. Ok, I'm not upset anymore, I can have a respectful discussion. Still, "OoA" is wrong, as "USoA" would be; "OA" would be correct, as "USA" is. You can trust me on this: I'm not Irish nor American, I'm a Continental, and on the Continent Grammar is a subject taught from the beginning of primary school until the beginning of high school. Quoting a famous proverb, "If all your friends jump off the cliff, would you jump as well?" British and American Common law say that yes, you should jump because of the precedents, but Roman law (used all over Europe) says no, you should not because a codified rule says so. No harm meant, it's just a cultural difference between UK/USA and Europe. Cheers and sorry if I sounded a bit harsh. :-) --Abacos (talk) 22:45, 29 June 2013 (UTC)

:No offence taken. I wish schools here put as much effort into teaching proper grammar. :/ Anyway, on that page, I was going by the abbreviations used here and here - those links are from two of the most popular Zelda resources on the Internet, and most Zelda fans will be familiar with the abbreviations used on those sites. I'm a bit of a stickler for proper grammar myself, so I know they're grammatically incorrect, and they stick out like a sore thumb to me, but I'm just using what I think most users will be familiar with (though that goes back to "If all your friends jump off the cliff, would you jump as well?"). Since you've contributed to the guide more than I have, though, I'll leave the final decision to you. -- 23:04, 29 June 2013 (UTC)

Did I edit Oracle of Ages that much? By the way, I added this note on the main page: It is commonly abbreviated OoA or tLoZ:OoA, although the grammatically correct abbreviations would be OA or LZ:OA. That should settle it, right? We quote both the wrong abbreviation and the right one. Maybe I'm sort of a "missionary of grammar", trying to spread the Knowledge in uncharted lands :-) <br /> (PS: I think in English-speaking schools there is no time to teach much grammar because the English spelling requires ages; do you know this joke? An Irish friend showed it to me :-D ) --Abacos (talk) 14:07, 30 June 2013 (UTC)

SEIWA[edit]

Hi there, I'm KeybladeSpyMaster, editor at the Kingdom Hearts Wiki. I'm sorry if this isn't the appropriate place to dump this, but I'm not sure where else to put this. My understanding is that you have control of the SEIWA site ([1]). KeybladeSpyMaster (talk) 00:00, 26 October 2014 (UTC)

I'll respond on the forum itself. (wonders why the wiki didn't send a notification email about this) --Moydow T · C 19:00, 29 October 2014 (UTC)

Images[edit]

Hello Moydow, thanks so much for helping me out with the box art pictures of the games. I will try to be more organized in my future edits for the box art. Again thanks for helping out and sorry for wasting your time for helping me out. -- RodKimble (talk) 21:06, 2 December 2014 (UTC)

Apologies[edit]

Hey Moydow, I just wanted to apologize real quick about the typo on RK's page, brain fart on my part. I hope you weren't offended. Procyon 15:43, 3 December 2014 (UTC)

Haha, no problem. No offence taken. --Moydow T · C 00:10, 4 December 2014 (UTC)
Sorry about that Moydow. I feel so bad for wasting your time fixing my problems, instead of helping out strategywiki. I will look back at my work before going straight to another page. -- RodKimble (talk) 02:12, 29 January 2015 (UTC)

The Mysterious Murasame Castle[edit]

Hey Moydow. Thanks for making all of the modifications to this guide. I had no idea that Nintendo decided to release the game in US on the 3DS. So thank you very much for taking that on and updating all the pages and images. I appreciate it. Procyon 18:50, 14 February 2015 (UTC)

F-Zero: Climax[edit]

Hey Moydow. Sorry for deleting that F-Zero page, it's just all F-Zero Games have these : before Like F-Zero: Maximum Velocity, F-Zero: GP Legend, and F-Zero: Climax so I just think it looks more organized that way. -- RodKimble (talk) 01:36, 23 February 2015 (UTC)

Yes, but it's not a case of what looks more organised, it's a case of "F-Zero Climax doesn't have a colon in its title, therefore we don't have a colon in its title here". --Moydow T · C 01:24, 23 February 2015 (UTC)
This is the last time I'm trying to help you out I'm trying to be nice and your messing with my pages at least notmyhandle helps me unlike you. -- RodKimble (talk) 01:36, 23 February 2015 (UTC)
I'm sorry if you took my changing things you've edited the wrong way. I'm not trying to "mess with" anything, just trying to ensure that everything is correct and in order. I certainly don't mean to cause offence by it. --Moydow T · C 01:42, 23 February 2015 (UTC)
No don't be sorry I should be sorry for saying that to you. Everyone here including you has been so nice, and on strategywiki more than I have been. -- RodKimble (talk) 02:42, 23 February 2015 (UTC)

References[edit]

If not within the guide, where should references be placed? - Lexmechanic (talk) 23:51, 23 February 2015 (UTC)

Usually you would put a link on the talk page, as you did, or just drop it in the edit summary. We're not like Wikipedia, in that we don't require every detail to be referenced, but we do ask you to at least acknowledge your sources when you use material from other sites. --Moydow T · C 00:24, 24 February 2015 (UTC)
Alright, I'll do that. - Lexmechanic (talk) 00:28, 24 February 2015 (UTC)

Name Change[edit]

Hey, Moydow. Can you change my name to "Justin ZW?" I haven't gone by Neo in probably three or four years. I'm honestly surprised I was able to guess my username at all, haha.ZW Neo (talk) 07:39, 25 February 2015 (UTC)

I can't change it myself, but I'll pass this on to Prod, and he should be able to change it for you. --Moydow T · C 16:03, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
The user "ZW Neo" has been renamed to "Justin ZW". -- Prod (talk) 18:05, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
Thanks, dude.Justin ZW (talk) 20:53, 25 February 2015 (UTC)

Awesome[edit]

Hey Moydow, I just wanted to say how awesome you are and I want to like you when I grow up. -- RodKimble (talk) 19:41, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

Call for help - patrolling edits[edit]

Many thanks, --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 20:32, 20 April 2015 (UTC)

I'd help if I could, but at the moment I'm bogged down in college work and exams, and don't really have enough time to commit to this. I won't be finished for about 2-3 weeks. Also, congrats on the promotion. --Moydow T · C 16:39, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
No problem! Thanks for getting back to me. We're under 1000 unpatrolled right now so we are getting a hold on things. I appreciate anything you can put into the site. Good luck on your finals! --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 00:35, 24 April 2015 (UTC)

Duel Destinies[edit]

When are you going to finish the editing on the walkthrough of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney- Duel Destinies? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Yuval (talkcontribs) .

Whenever I get around to it. --Moydow T · C 23:03, 6 November 2015 (UTC)

Yes, I'm sorry. I will wait. But will you finish the walkthrough before Ace Attorney 6 will come out? By the way, I did a good job with the editing there right? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Yuval (talkcontribs) .

Since you asked for feedback, I'll be perfectly honest with you: not really. Procyon 16:14, 7 November 2015 (UTC)

I am just 16 years old. Do you really think I amd understanding wiki editing?

Uh... what kind of excuse is that? We have several editors who are younger than you, and they do an excellent job. Procyon 19:08, 7 November 2015 (UTC)

I am 16 years old and I only start wiki editing like a month ago. That's better!?

Administration nomination[edit]

Hi Moydow. What's the craic in Eire? I was recently nominated for administrator. Can I ask you to give your opinion? It is here. --Abacos (talk) 10:07, 9 February 2016 (UTC)

Fates stats[edit]

When I'm listing the stats of a boss, do you think I should include the bonuses that they may get from items or skills? I'm not sure whether or not to do so. Lukey140701 (talk) 14:23, 24 July 2016 (UTC)

NIWA[edit]

Hello! Someone hasn't added ARMS Institute to the main page. Could you take care of it? --Raltseye (talk) 15:47, 27 July 2017 (UTC)

I took care of it, sans any kind of icon... Procyon 16:49, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
Thanks! Inkipedia uses this one inkipedia:File:ARMS Institute favicon.png, while bulbapedia uses this one. --Raltseye (talk) 17:02, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
