Fishing

I would not recommend this profession to anyone that does not want to have somthing to do while waiting in WOW, have a fun time-waster in a time-waster, or be able to get uncooked food for their cooking skill. This basically equates to, everyone should get this skill (except for your first character in a realm and when they start off, for they probably can barely afford a fishing rod you need). Well, you NEED a fishing rod and I recommend buying the lures/baubles from the fishing vendors (the highest level one you can use). At first, you can only fish in places like the Stormwind Canals, or the place you start off in, but after your level has gone up significantly, then you can go to other places.Eventually, fishing becomes a whole lot easier in the beginning areas, but you will not gain any exp (i think), so you must venture into other areas and fish there

How to Fish

First you equip you fishing rod, then press the fishing button (which is in the General tab of your spells book) near a body of water (except for a few exceptions, like the wailing cavern in Ironforge) and then a little thingy will appear on the water as well as a meter that slowly goes down. Wait till your thingy splashes and then right-click on it (you need fast reflexes). It's hard the first time, but then you get better. Buying a bauble makes you able to click a bit after than would normally require to catch it and still catch a fish.

Who should not Fish

Those with laggy computers (this requires spilt second timing, Those with bad reflexes, Those who cant stand failing over and over and get into small temper tantrums easily (only for the beginning, however)
