Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello Campfish91! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or hang out in IRC, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the community portal talk page. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- Prod (Talk) 15:40, 1 July 2007 (CDT)

Please read the guide, it has plenty of information about formatting. For example, here is the guideline for categorizing the main game pages. -- Prod (Talk) 20:43, 2 July 2007 (CDT)

Image categorisation[edit]

I see you've been uploading a few images lately. When doing so, could you please make sure to categorise them using the correct image categories? The image policy is viewable here, and contains all the information you'll need to categorise future uploads. --Prod (Talk) 19:05, 2 July 2007 (CDT)

Creating pages[edit]

Hi. When you create a new page, could you please only save it once you've added some content? I just deleted The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion/Spells because it had absolutely no content; creating pages like that isn't very helpful. Thanks, and happy editing. --DrBob (Talk) 09:42, 3 July 2007 (CDT)

Image names and summaries[edit]

Dude, you have got to start naming your uploaded images better. I should be able to tell, just by looking at the filename alone, what game they're from, and failing that, I should be able to look at the summary to figure it out. I can't do either with your uploads, particularly because you're not writing any summaries, which is unacceptable. While your contributions to the Oblivion guide are appreciated, all that you are doing is creating massive amounts of work for the sysops. Please try to adhere to the guidelines that we setup to avoid this particular problem. They're right there on the image upload page, you can't miss them. Thank you. Thank you very much for summarizing your uploads. Keep up the great work. Procyon (Talk) 21:39, 3 July 2007 (CDT)
Also, remember to always give information on who created the image or where it is from. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 21:47, 4 July 2007 (CDT)

Could you actually go through Category:Pages needing renaming and reupload any of the images you uploaded earlier with incorrect names? Their names should preferably be something like ES4 Oblivion image name.type, where image name is a description of the image (like Breton or Chestnut horse) and the type is the filetype (gif, jpg, etc). Also, Category:Game images is not a valid category to add to images, it has to be one of the subcategories according to the guidline (linked above). For example, Category:Characters, Category:Artwork, etc. All of this is so that we can keep our images more organized and avoid people trying to use the same name for different images and overwriting each others uploads. If you have any further questions, feel free to leave a message on any of our talk pages. Happy editing! -- Prod (Talk) 23:56, 4 July 2007 (CDT)

Thanks for starting on that. Can you please label any images you don't need with {{delete}} and mention that they've been replaced. One of us sysops will go through them and delete all the unnecessary images. Keep up the good work :) -- Prod (Talk) 22:30, 5 July 2007 (CDT)
