Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello Cjk7! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the editing article or the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or hang out in IRC, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the community portal talk page. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages by clicking   or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 23:40, 2 May 2007 (CDT)

A Rappelz fan? Good to see at least one on the site. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 23:40, 2 May 2007 (CDT)

Another welcome message (by Skizzerz originally)[edit]

Hello Cjk7! Thank you for your contributions, although I must admit that mine are way better than yours. Oh well, you'll catch up eventually (actually, you probably won't, but whatever). Anyway, if you have any questions, this link should answer them quite thoroughly. If you need help editing, instead of whining about, why don't you try to RTFM? As for the staff lounge, try looking at the first word there. It says "staff." Are you staff? I didn't think so, so STAY OUT! If you want to voice something about the site in general, or it's community, just go to community issues, but try not to as nobody cares about your issues. Seriously, keep them to yourself. If you want to just hang out in IRC, shame on you. Try actually editing something, you slacker. Okay, now, remember to sign your name on, and only on, talk pages by clicking   or using four tildes (~~~~); I'll let you figure out what the squiggly lines do yourself. Finally, always fill in the edit summary field, otherwise I have to do some hard work checking diffs to make sure you aren't screwing stuff up. Oh, and don't delete this message from your talk page or you will get banninated. Happy editing! Baejung92 19:54, 5 September 2007 (CDT)

This is the other welcome message you said you wanted... Baejung92 19:54, 5 September 2007 (CDT)

StarCraft[edit]

So, sections are created by using equal signs: ==Section Title==. You can also do three equal signs per side for subsections, but you probably won't be using that too much for this specific guide.

The structure of the walkthrough is totally up to you, so if you want to start with a mass Carrier rush strat, go ahead. I'll probably have ask to have you banned though. Just kidding. Seriously, it is up to you, although if you want some basic direction, you can look at the Terran and Zerg mission pages to see how they're laid out. For most kill-everything-on-the-map missions, I like to start with base building, then buildup of the strike force, then the attack itself. We both know that's not the only type of mission in the game, though, so be creative!

Images... you can map the Fraps screenshot key to whatever, but I use F9 because it doesn't interfere with other things. To add images into a walkthrough, use the following format:

You can line up multiple images side by side when you do 2 or 3 images, all aligned left, and type underneath.

When you save the page, you get lots of redlinks. Click on each of them, which will take you to the upload form; fill it out, making sure to type in a description of the image (check my images for examples) followed by and .

Well that's all I can think of right now. Ask me or another user if stuck, feel free to click the "edit" links in existing articles to see how something is done, and happy editing! Baejung92 19:34, 23 July 2008 (CDT)

Just a note on the image. Fraps takes bitmap images (that image was bmp), and they seem to be pretty large. May I suggest that you convert them into pngs in Paint and upload as such? Nice tank formation by the way. Baejung92 23:13, 24 July 2008 (CDT)
