Your userpage[edit]

I took the num parameter off the All Game Nav (and renamed it to Header Nav, as it is now called) because having the num=4 in there categorises your user page under Category:Guides at completion stage 4, and we want our count of completed guides to be as accurate as possible. Also, your talk page (the one you are reading right now) is designed for other people to comment. It even gives you a nice banner at the top of whatever page you are viewing saying you have new messages. Thanks, and nice job on MPH by the way! --Skizzerz Scissors.pngSafety Skizzerz Talk · Contribs · Spel Chek™ · VFG · RTFM 16:10, 13 June 2007 (CDT)

I substituted the Infobox as well to get rid of the games category. I would recommend you just build your own table rather than trying to use the infobox. -- Prod (Talk) 20:06, 14 June 2007 (CDT)

abxy[edit]

Hi Coolio Man. I saw your comments regarding abxy. While it is true that both sites are lead by echelon, the biggest priority is to focus efforts on replacing the server that we lease, with a new server that we buy and maintain on our own. Until that time occurs, any efforts to unite the two sites will remain postponed since we can't increase the server load on either side. If you would like to see the two sites become more integrated, please help us conceive of a productive fund raising effort that can earn us the roughly $1500 that we need in order to grow. Thanks. Procyon (Talk) 16:08, 19 November 2007 (CST)

Not that I'm unwilling to help, but how will another server allow for more integration?

It would stop both sites being ridiculously slow and prone to blackouts? Basically, the server's overloaded, and integrating the two sites would likely put more load on it — load it currently can't take. --DrBob (talk) 01:42, 20 November 2007 (CST)
First CoolioMan, you must start signing your posts. Just add ~~~~ to the end of your notes, or hit the signature button at the top (it's to the right of the big W in the red crossed out circle.) Secondly, DrBob is right. Ness had to shutdown several processes into to keep both sites at a minimum operational level. Integration between the two sites would increase the demand on the server, not lessen it, and both site would suffer as a result. Understand my position on this: I do not want to see abxy disappear. I think it is a crucial element to the success of SW. And I am especially grateful for the loyalty of users such as yourself. However, right now, SW is my personal priority since it has a substantial amount of momentum that we are doing our best to capitalize on. If we are able to improve our performance issues, we can begin to focus on greater integration between the two sites. Procyon (Talk) 09:46, 20 November 2007 (CST)

Images[edit]

When uploading images, please remember to categorize them with one of the main image categories as well as their game-specific image category. There's more info at StrategyWiki:Guide/Images#Uploading. Thanks, --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 02:42, 17 April 2008 (CDT)
