Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello Divi! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or hang out in IRC, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the forums. Please remember to sign your name on, and only on, talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 01:37, 1 April 2008 (CDT)

Btw, thanks for the Mythos help! --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 01:37, 1 April 2008 (CDT)

Show Preview[edit]

Hello Divi! Thanks for contributing to StrategyWiki! I'd like to point you to the "Show preview" button at the bottom of the edit page. When making an edit to a page, it is best to "Show preview" first. This way if there is something you want to change, you can fix it before saving the page. This in turn prevents clutter in the Recent Changes and helps sysops easily patrol edits. If you have any questions please feel free to ask at the Staff Lounge. Happy editing! --Skizzerz (talk · contribs) 09:12, 4 April 2008 (CDT)

Second warning. Please pay attention to this notice. If we have to remind you again, we will be forced to ban you temporarily. Please make one single edit to a page rather than a collection of small edits. Thank you. Procyon (Talk) 09:58, 4 April 2008 (CDT)
What they are suggesting, is that instead of pressing the edit links in each section, use the edit button at the top. That way you can make changes to all the sections at the same time rather than doing it piece-by-piece (this way you don't have to wait for it to save every time either). If anything is unclear, let me know, and Happy Editing :) -- Prod (Talk) 10:06, 4 April 2008 (CDT)

yeah, got that idea now too :D sorry for the hassle guys, wasn't really aware that you people actually check every edit. Divi 10:25, 4 April 2008 (CDT)

If we didn't, how would we keep the site in order? --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 23:10, 4 April 2008 (CDT)

Images[edit]

Hey Divi, thanks for adding so many images! One thing though, everything looks good except could you add the Category:Mythos images category to each of them? Me and maybe some of the other sysops will help you in this (wow, there are a ton!). Anyways thanks a lot - I wasn't expecting like, 90% of them added within 1 day. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 01:44, 9 April 2008 (CDT)

I'll prolly do the rest sometime today ^^ Have them all screenshotted, just need to put them in the right size and save them. Uploading is a pain though :D. You guys should think about uploading multiple files at once! :D Divi 07:07, 9 April 2008 (CDT)

Can someone remove the Image for "Scarred Bone"? It is the wrong one and I cant' replace it with the correct one by re-uploading. Thanks Divi 08:41, 9 April 2008 (CDT)

Yes you can, you just have to refresh your browser cache after you reupload (Ctrl + F5). In the event that you truly needed an image deleted, simply add the {{delete}} tag to the image description. Procyon (Talk) 09:20, 9 April 2008 (CDT)
If you do ever have to use the {{delete}} tag, please make sure you provide a reason for deleting the image (even if it is, for example, only a pointer to a discussion like this). We won't delete things unless we know there's a reason for it. :-) --DrBob (talk) 11:13, 9 April 2008 (CDT)

ok, managed to get it done. thanks :) hope i dont get another warning because i kind of made a ruckus out of that one image :D Divi 09:58, 9 April 2008 (CDT)

Don't worry about it :). Whenever you upload a new image, make sure you clear your cache (ctrl+f5 on firefox, not sure about ie or others). Mediawiki is very aggressive with caching and it won't show the new image until you force it to. -- Prod (Talk) 10:06, 9 April 2008 (CDT)
