Golden Sun: The Lost Age walkthrough[edit]

Hi, when you are writing the walkthrough for Golden Sun, can you add the navigation bars at the top and bottom (like this). -- Prod (Talk) 11:34, 9 December 2006 (CST)

Shadow of the Colossus[edit]

I saw your edits on this guide. Would it be better to put each boss on a separate page? It would clean up the page names, but it would take up more pages. Disclaimer: I haven't played the game. -- Prod (Talk) 10:54, 16 January 2007 (CST)

Well, the info doesn't have to be long to go on it own. Pages have a habit of growing when you least expect it :P (someone might find some more interesting information to add). If finding out what the next boss is, before you get to him, is considered a spoiler, then I think it would be better to split up the pages. And any errors found in the guide could be problems where the person typed it up differently than their notes, or did it later and forgot how they got through that part. For now, look through the histories of the pages (I don't know if they were originally from wikibooks) check some other guides for the game, and just try to verify the info between them, and what you did. -- Prod (Talk) 13:38, 16 January 2007 (CST)
I'll take care of rearranging all the pages, but it would be better if you can go through it after to make sure things still read properly. -- Prod (Talk) 21:03, 17 January 2007 (CST)
I've added some links to the Shadow of the Colossus/Table of Contents page. If they're OK (or do the names give away too much?) I'll move the content after you reply. -- Prod (Talk) 21:37, 17 January 2007 (CST)
Done :) -- Prod (Talk) 09:15, 19 January 2007 (CST)

Final Fantasy[edit]

I haven't looked through it carefully, but from a quick look it seems like it could use a lot of cleanup. Just try to follow the style of some of the other guides and feel free to move stuff around. If you move info from one page to another, put the name of the page you got the info from in the edit summary. And if a page is badly named, feel free to use the "Move" button to rename it. I'll look over it more today evening and may have some more suggestions, but if the main author has been out for more than a few months (check his contributions list), feel free to take over. -- Prod (Talk) 13:09, 3 July 2007 (CDT)

Navigation[edit]

Hi Lewis. When you're creating a page, can you try and remember to put the {{Header Nav}} and {{Footer Nav}} on it? The header needs to go on every page, and the footer on pages in a sequence (e.g. a walkthrough). Here's an example edit adding them to a page. Keep up the good work! --DrBob (Talk) 19:54, 3 July 2007 (CDT)

Nice work on the FFX guide. I don't know much about FF, but your walkthrough so far looks detailed and informative. :-D (Maybe you could add some screenshots next?) --DrBob (Talk) 08:36, 6 July 2007 (CDT)
Can you please use {{Final Fantasy X Nav}} instead of the ordinary header nav. Thanks.--RockyRally-X Rock.png (Talk - Contributions) 05:06, 7 July 2007 (CDT)

Your lost page[edit]

Can you tell me what page it was? Maybe we sysops can find it for you. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 17:45, 9 July 2007 (CDT)

Is it Final Fantasy X/Walkthrough/Macalania Woods or is this something else?--RockyRally-X Rock.png (Talk - Contributions) 10:21, 10 July 2007 (CDT)
Looking through your contributions, you have never created a page entitled Final Fantasy X/Walkthrough/Macalania Temple, nor was such a page ever deleted. On a side note, though, it says in the editing guide:

"as a general rule, the actual page locations only need to be tiered once (e.g. Game/Level 1 instead of Game/Walkthrough/Level 1). This prevents pages from having complicated titles (e.g. Game/Walkthrough/Core Missions/Ric/Bombs Away, Baby) and also makes linking easier."

So the page Final Fantasy X/Walkthrough/Macalania Temple would better fit as Final Fantasy X/Macalania Temple unless there is some really good reason for it. The "move" tab at the top of each page allows you to rename pages, but you'll need to fix all of the links to the old pages to point to the new ones. --Skizzerz Scissors.pngSafety Skizzerz Talk · Contribs · Spel Chek™ · VFG · RTFM 11:43, 10 July 2007 (CDT)
I've checked that page, and it was never created. Maybe there was a connection problem when you saved it? Are you sure that's the page? StrategyWiki wouldn't just "lose" something. --DrBob (Talk) 12:04, 10 July 2007 (CDT)

I strongly believe that the pages is the Macalanai Woods page. However, if you can't find the page, I'd recommend you just skip that part and continue from wherever you are. The great thing about wikis is that if you miss something, someone will come and fill it in. As a suggestion, I'd recommend you save things as you go. I know that some writers like to put together the whole page and then save it all at once. If you are doing the writing over a few days, every night just save whatever you have to the wiki. The next morning, you might be surprised that someone else has added another strategy or something.

If you have any other ideas of where this page may be, we will do anything we can to help you find it. In the meantime, relieve some stress with a nice fighting game :). -- Prod (Talk) 12:06, 10 July 2007 (CDT)

Also before you hit save for me, if it's big then I copy and paste it into notepad until it saves, if not then I save it in Notepad and try later.--RockyRally-X Rock.png (Talk - Contributions) 12:35, 10 July 2007 (CDT)

Page navigation[edit]

Please go back to Left 4 Dead/Infected and put the {{Header Nav}} and {{Footer Nav}} templates in. When creating a new page, you can use the "Guide page" button above the edit text box to automatically insert them. Thanks for following our policies and guidelines on page organization. - najzere 22:25, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
