Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello TCanuck42! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or hang out in IRC, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the community portal talk page. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- Prod (Talk) 22:53, 21 June 2007 (CDT)

Dreams of Deception[edit]

I reverted your previous two edits to Dreams of Deception for these reasons:

  • The game is a stub because no content outside of its front page exists yet, so the stub template should remain.
  • The needcat template should remain because the game is not yet appropriately categorised. Check out our completed guides to see what should all get categorised.
  • The table of contents is necessary, as it is part of the general front page format, so it should not get removed. If you don't like seeing the red link there, create the Table of Contents page (click the link to bring it up with the proper preload).

If you have any questions regarding any of this, or would like to explain why you think it does not qualify as/need one or more of the above items, please leave a message either here or on my talk page. Additionally, all images you upload should follow the image naming and categorisation policy. --Skizzerz Scissors.pngSafety Skizzerz Talk · Contribs · Spel Chek™ · VFG · RTFM 16:52, 22 June 2007 (CDT)

Hi TCanuck42! I thought that the enemy list on the front page was a bit too spoler-ful, so I removed it and put it on a sub-page (Dreams of Deception/Enemies) instead. Since I have no idea how you want it lain out, I'll leave that up to you, as it could still use a bit of work. Because of this, I also had to create the Table of Contents, so if you don't mind maybe adding a few more links in there, and filling those out instead of putting stuff on the front page, that would be great. Thanks, and I must say looking good so far! --Skizzerz Scissors.pngSafety Skizzerz Talk · Contribs · Spel Chek™ · VFG · RTFM 17:22, 20 July 2007 (CDT)

Image Naming[edit]

Please name all new images for this game with the full Dreams of Deception name rather than "DOD." There are other games with this acronym and we don't want any confusion (nor conflict between games). Thanks. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 22:48, 30 July 2007 (CDT)

Tcanuck42Ok. All my newly uploaded images will be named Dreams of Deception

Image:Loz ph.jpg[edit]

Hi again TCanuck42! I have four suggestions for your recent image upload:

  1. Please add transparency to the image instead of making it a plain white background.
  2. Our game logos generally do not include the system on it, so please crop out the "Nintendo DS" part of it. If at all possible, crop out everything around the main logo portion, as it helps reduce the size of the image.
  3. Please try to upload as .png if at all possible. The .png format is lossless and has excellent compression, and is the standard across most of StrategyWiki.
  4. Please rename the image to something a little more appropriate, like possibly Image:Loz_ph_logo.png. To do this, just upload the image under that name, then tag the existing one with {{delete}}.

If you could fix the above things (or if you can't/don't know how to, ask me so I can), that would be greatly appreciated. --Skizzerz Scissors.pngSafety Skizzerz Talk · Contribs · Spel Chek™ · VFG · RTFM 18:12, 9 July 2007 (CDT)

Out of curiosity...[edit]

...how old are the members of your development team? Thanks. Procyon (Talk) 13:50, 1 August 2007 (CDT)

TCanuck42 All three members of the development team are in high school. We are going to enter this game into the IGF (Independent Game Festival) 2008 competition, held in San Fransisco Annually.
