Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello Vvarlock! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or hang out in IRC, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the community portal talk page. Please remember to sign your name on, and only on, talk pages by clicking or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- Procyon (Talk) 10:49, 22 January 2008 (CST)

Test page deleted[edit]

I had to delete the page that you contributed to the PSP version of FFT for a number of reasons.

  1. At SW, we adhere to a strict NPOV (Neutral Point of View) policy. This means no usage of the first person (I, me, myself) in any guide writing.
  2. No one single author can claim any ownership of their writing on SW since all guides are technically written by the entire community, even if only one author has contributed to the guide so far. Credit for your writing and contributions shows up in the article's history page.
  3. Do not tab or indent anything that you write. That is an indication in Wiki markup to use a different format that we don't use. All paragraphs must begin flush with the left margin.

We have a growing guide for Final Fantasy Tactics that has some development already. Eventually, new aspects of the PSP FFT should be folded into that guide, just as aspects unique to the GBA version of Zelda 3 were incorporated into the original SNES version of the Zelda 3 guide.

I highly recommend that you read out StrategyWiki user guide, and then try again. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask us in the Staff lounge. Thanks. Procyon (Talk) 10:49, 22 January 2008 (CST)

Vvarlock, you are free to contribute to the FFT strategy guide here as much as you like, but you must follow the writing style of the site in order for your contributions to be accepted. It is inappropriate to leave a personal message on the Walkthrough page for a game. If you need the contents of your original walkthrough, let me know, and I can send it to you. Copyright violations[edit]

Please can you stop copying copyright walkthroughs from GameFAQs here; it's illegal. Unless you have permission from the copyright holder, you are the copyright holder, or the walkthrough is under a GFDL-compatible license, you cannot copy it here. Please try to contribute original and non-copyright-bound content in future. Thanks. --DrBob (talk) 11:00, 24 January 2008 (CST)

This is your last warning Vvarlock. If we have to revert one more contribution on your part, you will be facing a temporary ban. Contribute to the site responsibly and maturely, or do not contribute at all. If you cannot do this, you will be prevented from editing StrategyWiki. Procyon (Talk) 12:41, 24 January 2008 (CST)

Congratulations[edit]

You just earned yourself a one week ban. Use the time to think and grow up. Procyon (Talk) 13:39, 25 January 2008 (CST)

You know, the more I think about it, there really is no reason why you're having such a hard time following the rules. Day in and day out, other users contribute to the site with no problem at all. You are simply insisting on doing whatever you want any way that you want to. I don't know in how many other aspects of life you are finding success with that approach, but I can't imagine that it's a lot. So I'm throwing you a challenge: After the one week is up, I challenge you to make one constructive edit to the site that we won't have to revert. I'm willing to bet that you can't do it. I'm willing to bet that your ego will prevent you from making a purely positive contribution. You somehow think that your name has to be attached to anything that you do for it to be meaningful, and I'm telling you that if you truly believe that that is the case, you're going to be very disappointed throughout your lifetime.
