The first building you'll see in Alsedo is an inn. You can rest here for 10 gold. Resting at the inns throughout the world will let you save your game and refill your hearts and magic.
Continue to the right and and press 
between the two angel statues. Head to the right to talk to Queen Eleanora's residence. She will entrust one of her helpers to you, Priscilla. Priscilla will give you a small heart for every five enemies you defeat in an area. Priscilla will disappear once you leave the region and if you want her help again you'll need to visit the queen again.
