DK's Jungle Adventure is the second of the six default stage maps within the game. It is a simple course that's in a jungle-like area owned by DK.

There are a few branches in the map. The first branch is at the beginning. It's just a square that brings you back to the start. A whomp blocks one of the two paths.

The second branch after you pass the first whomp brings you to another whomp blocking one of the branches again. Both branches bring you to the third branch and a boo that will steal coins or stars.

The third branch has two more paths: one that you need 20 coins to take leads to Bowser, who will sell you a golden Bowser that you can't use for 10 coins, the other one leads to two other branches. It is longer than the one Bowser is on.

The last branches of the board both lead to the beginning of the board where Koopa will give you 10 coins. The longer path has the second boo of the stage. The last one has a whomp blocking one of the branchs.

If you want to pass a whomp on this board, you must pay 10 coins each time.

If you land on a happening space, a boulder will chase the players in its path all the way back to the beginning.

At the end of the game, the winning player's stars join together to form a large star that flies over to the stone chest located at the upper-left hand corner of the board. The star acts as the key, opening the chest, and reveals the ancient treasure—the golden banana. The winning player is rewarded with the bananas while the players in 2nd and 3rd place, in addition to Toad, Koopa, Boo, a whomp and the large star all accompany them in the winner's circle. The player that came in 4th place is chased down the board by the rolling boulder.
