Upon entering the main title screen the player could switch between the games by pressing the SELECT button (PS3) or the BACK button (360). Each of the two entries in this collection included under Single Player: an Arcade mode, a Training mode with unique options for each game along with a Save State feature, and a Vault where (thru EXP) the player could unlock artwork, character movies, and secret characters.  Multiplayer offered offline Local Match, online play with rollback netcode in Ranked Match, Player Match, provided Invites, and the option for match Replays. The game allowed the player to set Matchmaking Options by GGPO Delay, Region, Skill, and Ping Threshold. Challenges showed a list of achievements that could be reached by meeting a variety of requirements for the player to gain EXP in order to unlock items in the Vault. Settings also allowed for some quality of life improvements with different views, filters, and audio level options.
