If you do Classic with any character, doing it with any character unlocks the character's normal trophy. If you do Classic with Zelda/Sheik, Samus/Zero Suit Samus, or Pokémon Trainer, you only get the trophy for the specific character that landed the final blow on Master Hand or Crazy Hand (whichever comes last). For example, if you want to get the Zero Suit Samus trophy, use Samus' Final Smash (Zero Laser) beforehand. But if you want to unlock all the switched-in characters (Samus, Zero Suit Samus, Zelda, Sheik, and all three of Pokemon Trainer's Pokemon), you have to do Classic with both Zelda and Sheik, and once with both Samus and Zero Suit Samus, and Pokemon Trainer three times (once for all Pokemon including Ivysaur, Charizard, and Squirtle). In [[Super Smash Bros. Brawl/All-Star|All Star]], this is the same thing for Samus, Zero Suit Samus, Zelda, and Sheik's Final Smash trophies (by doing All Star with all four of the said switched-in characters). However, Pokemon Trainer (on his Final Smash trophy) has one Final Smash trophy to unlock. So you do not have to do all three separate characters.
