The three commons herbs that can be found in the Jungle are Liferoot, Khadgar's Whiskers and Kingsblood.
The Troll Ruins (particularly in the Skullsplitter encampment) often have Purple Lotus.
Off the coast Stranglekelp can be found.
Cooking
Tigers drop Tiger Meat that can be used to make Jungle Stew. Raptors drop Raptor Meat that can be made into Roast Raptor.
Fishing
Common fishing types (seashore): Rockscale Cod.
Quests
Kurzen's Mystery
The location of the second legend tablet can be a little obscure. Swim west from the Island of Tides to the submerged troll city that holds the glowing blue altar. Along the northern wall that boxes in the altar is the relevant tablet. It should be possible to sneak it and get the required legend without fighting the surrounding elite Murlocs. A potion of water breathing might be handy though as the dive is quite deep.
