Exzisus (エクスザイサス, lit. Ekusuzaisasu), is a horizontal scrolling shooter arcade game that was released by Taito Corporation in 1987 only in Japan; it utilizes four Zilog Z80s (three at 6 MHz and one at 4 MHz) with a Yamaha YM-2151 running at 4 MHz for audio. The player must use an 8-way joystick to take control of a space astronaut (who is the eponymous "Exzisus"), with two buttons to make him fire shots (and drop bombs) on enemies - and there are three different powerups he can collect: F (Full Automatic) which allows him to fire a "blaster" when both of the buttons are pressed simultaneously, A (Aerodynamic Power), which will transform him into a turbo jet (which resembles the players' ships from Taito's own Darius), and B (Barrier), which shall allow him to withstand four enemy hits before dying. There are a total of four stages in the game and they will repeat once you clear that last one; however, it uses the text of "LET'S GO NEXT WORLD", so it does not seem so.
