Swashbuckler Rating
Depending on the choices you make throughout the game, Vyse's Swashbucker Rating, basically his reputation, will rise or fall. The biggest impact will come from dialogue choices; saying something heroic or inspiring will increase your rating, but acting unsure will lower it. Running from a lot of fights will also negatively impact your reputation.

Eternal Arcadia Legends
At one point during the Gamecube version of Eternal Arcadia, your Swashbuckler Rating will change to "Vyse The Fallen Pirate" - you'll have to complete the Fallen Pirate subquest to restore your rating.
