Message from the Reapers:
- Set the cursed sculpture free.
- You have 60 minutes.
- Fail, and face erasure.
Station Underpass
You start off at the station underpass. Head left to get (Book) Scanning. Tap the pin to scan. You will get (Book) Enemy Encounters. Now scan again and you can see three Noise icons (which oddly look like frogs) around the red-hooded Reaper. Touch one to start erasing Noise.
Battles: Dixiefrogs x3 | |
---|---|
The second battle is an introduction to the usage of obstacles in battles, though this can only be accomplished with certain pins. Swipe over the obstacles to send them in the direction of the Dixiefrogs, and use the Pyrokinesis pin while Psychokinesis charges. The final battle is an introduction to slashing. Slash across the Dixiefrogs repeatedly to form a combo. | |
Reward |
Thunderbolt, Force Rounds, Psychokinesis, Shockwave, and 500 Yen; (Book) CONTROLS/Touch (DS), CONTROLS/Tap (Solo/Final Remix), Use Obstacles, CONTROLS/Slash, Mail Icon |
After the battles and scenes, head left now that the wall has cleared.
West Exit Bus Terminal
Now you will meet Beat (Skulls) and Rhyme. Select everything to chat about and you will get Cure Drink, (Sticker) Phone Menu (Home Menu in Solo Remix and Main Menu in Final Remix), and (Book) Wearing Pins. Now use the phone and set any pins you have now. A good choice is Cure Drink with either Thunderbolt or Shockwave.
Go north, talk to a red Reaper (you will obtain two Stickers, Co-op and Shiki: Co-op, in Final Remix), and scan. You will see two orange Noise symbols near the Moyai (the statue that looks like the Easter Island head). Tap them to begin the battles.
Battles: Dixiefrogs and Garage Wolf | |
---|---|
Tap the bigger Noise symbol to meet a new enemy: the Garage Wolf. This Noise is tougher than the Dixiefrogs, capable of dashing across the screen to dodge Neku's attacks and hit him with a running pounce. However, this enemy is still relatively weak, so it should only take a few hits to take out. | |
Reward |
500 Yen and (Sticker) Extra Slot |
After the battles, the wall will be cleared, so head on through. Take note that there is a green Noise symbol near the top of the exit to the Station Underpass. This leads to an optional battle with a rare pig Noise. Take it out to get 500 Yen.
Statue of Hachiko
Scan around the area to start an event. Then go to Hachiko (the dog statue) and take a closer look. There is a blue stain-like dot on the statue. There's nothing you can do right now (except kill the green Noise at the top right-hand corner of the area for another 500 yen), so head back to the West Exit Bus Terminal.
Eavesdrop on a man near the Moyai; he talks about "polishing away" Hachiko, so head back. Save and adjust your pins. When you're ready, head to the statue and polish Hachiko to reveal Noise. The battle will start against three Garage Wolves. Take them out to receive (S) DEF Boost for Shiki. Here is why you saved: you will meet a Reaper named Uzuki Yashiro (Pinky) and she will chuck a boss Noise at you.
Miniboss: Metal Corehog | |
---|---|
![]() The 'Hog will occasionally shoot quills that land near Neku and Shiki. Have Shiki attack the quills while Neku avoids them, as they will eventually explode and deal a lot of damage in the process. Once the Wolves are gone, have Shiki help Neku against the Corehog and the fight will go by quickly. | |
Reward |
Ice Blow, Scarletite, and (Sticker) ATK Boost for Shiki |
The battle is followed by a long scene, which concludes the day.
