Abnormal Check (アブノーマルチェック, lit. Abunōmaru Chekku) is a dating simulation quiz arcade game which was released by Namco in 1996 only in Japan; it was the last game from the company to run on their ND-1 hardware, and like in Bakuretsu Quiz Ma-Q Dai-Bouken, Nettou! Gekitou! Quiztou!! and both X-Days, a knowledge of all three Japanese writing systems (Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana) is essential if you wish to succeed in it. The players must use two buttons to input their genders (A for female, B for male), and whether or not they are of the adult age (A for yes, B for no) - and once they have done so, they must either confirm what they have entered is accurate by pressing A, or press B to enter it again if any of them has made a mistake. They must then select a question genre by using the first and third players' buttons, then pressing either of the second player's to confirm their choice; all questions have two possible choices, and once all of them have been answered, the cabinet shall print out the results of the consultation, which display the players' compatibility statistics (however, in the case of one person playing the game alone, the theme song shall be heard at this point instead).
