==Machine Guns==

There are not many avid machine gun users in Combat Arms, but these beasts still have their upsides. Machine guns are basically assault rifles that are modified for spraying. They sacrifice portability and accuracy for huge amounts of ammo, making it so that you can spray for a long time and not have to reload.

''Common Name: M60''
''Common Name: M60''

The M60 is the least accurate and least portable weapon existing in Combat Arms. It is so unportable that if somebody tosses a grenade nearby, you are quite dead. However, it has very high power, capable of a three-shot kill, and even if your enemy gets away, they will be left mortally damaged. The fire rate is fair for a machine gun, but the recoil should be handled carefully.
The M60 is another machine gun that focuses more on brute strength rather than accuracy and range capability, kind of like the MK48.  It has high damage, only slightly lower than the MK48, an acceptable fire rate, and although it still has high recoil, it's much more manageable than the MK48.  All the machine guns seem to share the same accuracy, since all the crosshair sizes are identical, but due to this gun's high recoil, you might have a hard time bringing down targets at range.  This gun is also extremely heavy, making it the least portable weapon in Combat Arms, meaning you'll pretty much be moving like a slug. And if you try to heavy vest with this weapon, you might as well just stand still. But despite all that, this is a fairly good machine gun that can decimate the enemy if used correctly, like any other machine gun.

This weaker four-shot kill machine gun has the longest effective range, meaning that you won't necessarily lose all medium-range fights like you would with an MK48 or M60. The recoil is very low and it is relatively portable and accurate for a machine gun.
This machine gun has very low recoil and is quite accurate over longer distances.  You'll be able to take down targets from close to medium range going full auto. Even longer is possible as well, if you burst/single shot, although this probably isn't a good idea, as any other gun in the game in the hands of a competent player (excluding shotguns) can out-snipe an MG user.  If used correctly though, you'll easily be able to mow down countless players due to this gun's good balance of damage and fire rate.  Crouching is essential though, as with all machine guns, and running-and-gunning isn't a good idea unless you're in close quarters due to the large spread.  This gun is also fairly portable, making heavy vesting an option which works well with any avid MG user. Basically, this MG is probably the most versatile out of all the other MGs and is a very good weapon for any close to medium distance engagement.

''Common Name: MK48''

This machine gun boasts the highest damage out of all the primary weapons, excluding sniper rifles. It also has the highest recoil - just ten shots on full auto and you would already be shooting forty-five degrees higher than you previously were. The recoil can be controlled by pulling down on your mouse, and someone who is skilled can get lots of multiple kills with the MK48 due to its high power. It also reloads quickest out of all the machine guns.
This machine gun boasts the highest damage out of all the primary weapons, excluding sniper rifles and the M14. It is also fairly portable and has the fastest reload out of all the MGs by about a fraction of a second.  But despite this gun's strengths, it suffers from massive recoil, large spread, and a below average fire rate.  Within just a couple shots, your crosshair will be jumping all over the place and your reticule will get quite large.  But surprisingly, this gun is fairly accurate when you single shot or burst, and due to its power you will be able to bring down multiple enemies before they even get a chance to shoot back. Just be sure to crouch, control you recoil, and focus your crosshair while using this gun.

''Common Name: K3 SPW''
''Common Name: SHIT SPEWR''

The only difference between this supply case upgrade of the K3 and the K3 itself is that the K3 SPW is much more portable. You can actually go around and spray this machine gun without being slowed down by it to the pace of a snail. However, besides the portability, there is no difference at all.
{{-}}

==Sniper Rifles==

Sniper rifles are guns specifically made to kill enemies from a far range. They deal extreme amounts of damage per shot, fire slowly, and have a built-in scope of huge magnification. Snipers are very clumsy and difficult to aim with at a close range. This is because you must be using the scope for the gun to have accuracy.

When unscoped, sniper rifles have no crosshair to mark the center of your screen, and the accuracy is worse than that of a machine gun. Note that although the numerical difference in accuracy of sniper rifles seems insignificant, but it really is, because you are dealing with such far ranges.

All sniper rifles can be fitted with a suppressor (except the SR25 and its supply case counterpart) or a magazine mod.

''Common Name: M24''

This is not a commonly used sniper, because although it is bolt-action (you must leave the scope after each shot to work the bolt, massively slowing down firing rate), it takes two shots to kill. The M24 specializes in accuracy - 100% accuracy, so as long as you aimed well, you will never miss a shot. If you miss, it is your fault, not the gun's.

Because you leave the scope after each shot, recoil does not affect this weapon at all. The M24 is also more portable than the other sniper rifles. It has a weird clip size of 7, so you might leave somebody half-dead while reloading.

''Common Name: M24 Woodland''

Exactly the same as the M24, but with a woodland camo skin. There is absolutely no difference in the gun performance. As for why you would need to pay an extra 100 GP for no improvement on the original gun, nobody really knows.

''Common Name: SR''

This semi-auto sniper rifle has the weakest damage but also the fastest fire (besides its supply case variant). The accuracy deviates slightly from perfect, but it is still good. The SR25 has a built-in silencer that you can't really see, but it exists, and your shots aren't loud.

Low recoil makes it easy to take shot after shot, although whenever using a semi-auto rifle you should still aim carefully and try to not use more than two bullets for a kill. There is not a lot of ammo to waste.

''Common Name: SR Sandfire''

This upgrade on the SR25 simply makes it shoot faster. This gun could take you lots of money to get from a supply case, or it could take you just one try. The fast firing rate tempts people to spray the shots, but you should still aim carefully to conserve ammo.

''Common Name: MSG''

The MSG-90 is almost the exact same as the SR25, but it features more damage per shot (still a two-shot kill though), a slower firing rate, and more recoil. Other than a balance tweak on those three statistics, everything else is pretty much the same, with the high accuracy and such.

''Common Name: SVD''

The Dragunov SVD sniper rifle is a further tweak on the stats of the SR25. While the MSG-90 is like an SR25 with more damage, slower fire, and more recoil, the SVD is an MSG-90 with the same things.

While still taking two shots to kill, one shot with the SVD will leave any enemy so mortally wounded that one more shot from any of your teammates could finish him or her off. The scope is slightly different from the rest - the point of the top chevron marks the center.

Accuracy is slightly lower, but it shouldn't pose much of a problem. SVD shots are incredibly loud, but you can not attach a silencer.

''Common Name: L9''

This is the most inaccurate and least portable sniper. It also has the slowest firing rate. Yet this is the most popularly used sniper because of one thing: its ridiculously powerful one-hit kill. The power is over 100, making even legshots a one-hit kill.

Because it is bolt-action, recoil does not affect this gun. The bolt takes much longer to work than does the M24's bolt, the L96A1 also takes longer to scope. The L96A1's shots are very loud without using a suppressor, in fact, if you are playing in Snow Valley, nearly everyone in the map can hear your shot.

This sniper's poor accuracy can be noticed when you try to snipe somebody who is partially concealed from view, such as when someone camps behind one of the U-shaped barriers in Snow Valley with only their head showing. You could take five well-aimed shots at that head and still not hit it. Still, the beastly power makes this a common choice for both beginning and expert snipers.

''Common Name: L9 Ghillie''

This Supply Case upgrade on the L96A1 differs only in that it is covered in green grass for camouflage, and that it comes with a suppressor. This suppressor is exactly the same as the S1 suppressor which you can buy from the Modification shop for just 100 GP.

The L9 Ghillie seems to scope and fire a bit faster than the standard L9, but this might not be worth the money of trying to get it from a supply case.
The only difference between this supply case upgrade of the K3 and the K3 itself is that the K3 SPW is much more portable. You can actually go around and spray this machine gun without being slowed down by it to the pace of a snail. Also, it has an amazing 400 ammo in total. However, besides the portability and ammo, there is no difference at all. OTHER THAT THE FACT that spw means spermwooper
