This is the default controls for Playstation 2 and Nintendo Gamecube.

Gamecube controls

  • A button: Tap for light grapple. Hold for heavy grapple. After grappling someone, you can just press A button for a normal wrestling slam or use Neutral control in different directions for different effects. Also use it for ropes, turnbuckles and for the opponent lying down or sitting down on the mat.
  • B button. Tap for light strike. Hold for heavy strike. After grappling someone, you can just press B button for a grappling attack or use Neutral control in different directions for different effects. Same with ropes, turnbuckles and the opponent lying down or sitting down on the mat.
  • A button+B button: Press both buttons for a very strong strike attack.
  • X button: Use it to run around opponents, through the ropes or as an attack which follows by A button or B button. Also use for going on turnbuckle. Let go to use the attack.
  • Y button: Use it to climb through topes and throw opponents out of the ring.
  • Z button: In tag team or up to three opponents against you, use it to switch focus to the opponent closest to you.
  • Neutral control: Move your hip hop wrestler around the stage.
  • Neutral cstick: Taunt and if you succeed in your momentum, use it to enter blaze mode and after grappling in frond or behind the opponent, use it to release a devastating move which will take a toll on its health.
  • L button: Avoid grapples and use it to pin the opponent if it's in danger. Also to switch from front and behind.
  • R button: Blocking strikes and bringing a lying opponent on its fit.
  • Start button: Pause the game.
