Double Dragon II: The Revenge is an arcade game created by Technos in 1989. It's a sequel to Double Dragon. Originally designed as an upgraded version of the first game, Double Dragon II features a unique two-way attacking system, new boss characters and redrawn graphics.

Double Dragon II: The Revenge was ported to numerous home systems. There was also a Game Boy game, simply titled Double Dragon II, but this was actually the Kunio-kun game Nekketsu Kōha Kunio-kun: Bangai Rantō-hen localised into English with Double Dragon graphics and a new plot. As a result it has significantly different gameplay and level design.
