Half-Minute Hero, (known as Yuusha 30 (勇者30 Yuusha Sanjuu)?, lit. "Hero 30" in Japan), is a hybrid Action RPG developed by Opus and published by Marvelous AQL. It was initially released exclusively in Japan on the PSP on May 28, 2009. It was later released in North America on October 13, 2009 and in Europe on February 19, 2010. It was re-released on the Xbox Live Arcade on June 29, 2011 under the title Half-Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax. It was released via Steam on September 27, 2012, and renamed with a slight variation as Half-Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax Ultimate Boy.
A sequel was created, titled Yuusha 30 Second and localized as Half-Minute Hero: The Second Coming.
Story[edit | edit source]
The game has several modes that have varying stories that take place in the same fantasy world. The main storyline involves a hero trying to stop evil wizards from casting a spell that will destroy the world. The hero is aided by 'The Goddess' who can turn back time 30 seconds with enough gold.
