Setup[edit]
Before joining the battle at Neufchâteau, visit the shop at Vaucouleurs to outfit Jeanne, Liane, and Robert with the best equipment they can afford at this point. A few rounds of Free Combat at the Chapel in the Woods can help them afford anything that seems out of reach at first. It will also help to get a few more levels on the three characters before the next battle.
Captain Robert sends Jean and Bertrand to help defend Neufchâteau.
Place all of the characters as close to the front lines as possible. The purpose of this battle is to save the couple from the English officer that has ransacked the town, and it will take a while for the characters to make their way to the officer.
Begin![edit]
Keep the characters close together to take advantage of Unified Guard whenever possible. Maneuver them to utilize Burning Auras and take down as many enemies as possible during each turn by grouping up against them.
Starting with the third turn, Jeanne's transformation will be available. She should take advantage of this when the enemies allow an opening for multiple extra moves through Godspeed. She may get ahead of the group, but she should be able to handle the situation. Allow the rest of the group to take care of any enemies she leaves behind.
Keeping the group together and remembering to keep moving should get them through this mission. If they have any trouble, a couple of levels and a little shopping should get the trio into the condition they need to be in to face these enemies.
