Journey marquee

Journey is an arcade game that was released by Bally Midway, in 1983; it runs upon the company's MCR-2 hardware but increases the speed of the first Zilog Z80 to 7.5 MHz, and features the band of the same name (who had previously written the music for the movie TRON, which Bally Midway had done the game tie-in for). The game's story is that alien "groupoids" (an obvious pun on "groupies"), have stolen Journey's electro-supercharged instruments, and players must help them retrieve them, from five dangerous galaxies - and all cabinets of this game also feature an audio tape of the band's songs Separate Ways and Worlds Apart which starts to play during the game's bonus round, but it's not replicated in MAME, evidenced by it having an "imperfect sound emulation" notice upon startup.
