'''Knights of Legend''' (KL) is a 1989 Strategy and Role-Playing video game by {{c|Origin Systems}}. It was released one year after ''[[Ultima V]]'', and many aspects of this game are similar. Still, the combat system is what really puts ''Knights of Legend'' apart from the ''Ultima'' games.

''Knights of Legend'' was not a commercial success, and the planned expansion packs were never released.
The game author, Todd Porter, described it as "a game that combined the quick play of a computer with the detailed combat and worlds of paper". Ironically, the very few '''negative''' reviews say that the gameplay is extremely slow. In fact, they complain about the overwhelming amount of battle options and details.
