Exhibition

You get to choose whatever you whether it's singles or doubles. Also how long your match is going to last and how difficult your AI can react to a ball. Unlock more for greater variety.

Tournament

You can choose between singles and doubles. Play all characters to unlock everything. Difficulty increases as you play through the tournaments. It's for one player only.
