Motocross Champion (ゾイド2 -ゼネバスの逆襲-?) is a motorcycle racing game developed by Human Entertainment for the Famicom, and published only in Japan by Konami in 1989. It is based on the endurance motorcycle racing sport Motocross, in which racers must navigate difficult terrain while staying ahead of the other competitors. Though superficially resembling Excitebike with the various jumps and wheelies the player can pull off, it plays more like a traditional top-down racer such as Super Sprint or R.C. Pro-Am. There are a total of eight different tracks available in the game.
Konami would later revisit Motocross with Motocross Champion's spiritual successor Motocross Maniacs for the Game Boy, which replaced the top-down view with a 2D side-scrolling view, and a more abstract assortment of loop-the-loops and nitro-assisted jumping.
