Shooting Range is a video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System made by Bandai in 1989. It involves mini-games resembling the Old West. (With the exception being the moon level.)

The object of the game is to shoot the red and white pinwheel targets that are on characters.
 
==Modes of play==
 
In Shooting Range, there are two modes of play:
 
Normal mode - game where the player not only has to be quick, 
but accurate.
Party mode - game that resemble a carnival shooting gallery.
 
==Normal Mode==

In normal mode the player has to race against the clock to clear 3 stages by shooting targets placed on characters. To clear a stage, the player has to reach a target score, with the exception of Stage 3. There is also a bonus stage, where the player can earn bonus points. Normal mode also has three levels of difficulty, each reducing the amount of time thus making the game harder
 
The game is over if the player run out of time or runs out of energy.
 
After each stage the score summary screen appears. This screen show the score for each of the four stages and the total score.
===Power Ups
 
In normal mode there are power ups that can help the player.
 
Energy Capsule        - Restores Energy by 2 units<br />
Big Energy Capsule    - Restores Energy to Maximum<br />
Bogus Energy Capsule  - Reduces energy by 2 units<br />
Hour Glass            - Adds 50 seconds to the clock<br />
Super C       - Add 100 points to the players score<br />
Super W              - Add 1000 points to the players score<br />

In party mode, the player must first shoot one of the flashing pink targets to activate the pinwheel targets. The player then shoots the pinwheel tragets just like normal mode. The player repeats the process until time is up.
