Talk:Super Mario Bros. 2/to do

• Review all walkthrough pages and add links to items, enemies, bosses, etc. appendices.
• Add original, non-enhanced NES sprites.
  • Characters.
  • Enemies.
  • Bosses.
• Add entries on glitches.
• Add info regarding BS Super Mario Bros. USA.
• Verify how to ride on Albatoss' back (if possible).
• Get SMA heart sprites for item page.
• Verify the name for the end level gates. Is it the same as the boss name, "Hawkmouth"? Is "Hawkmouth" a SMA name? Maybe it has two names? Mouth gate?

GBA and SNES info needed to be added

• Add GBA version info on the Super POW Block, Super Vegetables, Heart Radishes, and 1-Up Mushroom Bubble in Super Mario Bros. 2/Items.
  • Investigate if there is the existence of a special basket and spiked ball in the GBA version.
• Upload image of the subcon fairy image mentioned in the credits. There is a level where a flock of these carry and drop bob-ombs.

Tasks in Progress

• Upload and add colored artwork relating to the game. See Talk:Super Mario Bros. 2#The manual for discussion. Currently handled by Procyon (talk · contribs) and Notmyhandle (talk · contribs).
  • Need enemy art.
  • Boss artwork uploaded.
  • Half of the manual artwork has been completed.

Completed tasks

• 2 images minimum requirement needing to be met: Super Mario Bros. 2/Walkthrough.
• Add linkable IDs to appendices sub-pages (enemies, items, etc.).
• Change background of all enemy cells so that Beezos white weapon does not meld into the background.
• Super Mario Bros. 2/Getting Started lacks info on the slot machine mini-game between levels.
• Better images on Super Mario Bros. 2/Warps.
• Super Mario Advance title screen image placed on its main page.
  • Title screen image after acquiring all yoshi eggs. Place at bottom of yoshi's challenge page in a spoiler dropdown.
• Replace the GIF version (File:SMB2_boss_Hawkface.gif) with a PNG version.
• Fix headers on walkthrough pages.
• Image->File on all pages.
• Apply a colored box to Super Mario Advance info to help easily differentiate from Super Mario Bros. 2 info in all the Walkthrough pages.
• More detailed or less misleading analysis of characters.
• Add minor info on the group "8 bits", composed of the enemies and bosses that aid Wart.
• Fix SNES (and maybe NES) info on Super Mario Advance/New features. I'm fairly certain it's incorrect in particularly the naming, but Ceegers (talk · contribs) needs to check. See Talk:Super Mario Bros. 2#New features page‎ for discussion.
• Verify GBA Tryclyde name (is it Triclyde?).
• Add all naming differences to Items/Enemy/Boss pages.
• Add Red and Green birdo sprites and add them with info to the bosses page. Then replace the pink birdos on walkthrough pages where applicable.
• Get sprite of crystal orb, add to items page and relevant sections of walkthrough.
