Timber is an arcade game, that was released by Bally Midway in 1984, and was licensed to Sega for Japanese manufacturing and distribution; it runs upon the company's MCR-3 hardware, but without a TMS-5220 or DAC for speech. The players must take control for two loggers (Player 1's is dressed in red, while Player 2's is dressed in blue), at a logging camp, who have to chop down a certain amount of trees within each round's time limit while getting watched by their cigar-smoking foreman - but they shall also have to watch out for angry beehive-throwing bears, and collect birds that emerge from the felled trees, for extra points. Every third round is also a bonus round, where the loggers must stay on rotating logs for extra points; the score displays give the illusions of allowing values not ending in "0".
