The story begins in a continent called Beuritania which contains 12 ares composed of different elements. In the game you start off as a novice until you work your way up to level 10 at which you can choose one of the 6 job advancements: Warrior, Archer, Mage, Monk, Rogue, or Priest. Each one has their own set of skills and can later at level 30 advance again to a choice of two second jobs for each first job that will be listed respectively: Warrior: Berzerker or Paladin, Archer: Sniper or Beast Master, Mage: Elementist or Summoner, Monk: Fighter or Counter, Rogue: Assassin or Trapper, and Priet: Bishop or Dark Priest. Each set of classes uses a certain stat and usually a secondary or third stat. The stats are as follows: Strength, Spirit, Intelligence, or Dexterity.
Depending on your choice you will have to guide your character through numerous battles to become the best of the best.

As with many [[MMO]]s the game attempts to give players many ways to interact with one another (friend lists, team or solo player versus player fighting, trading, etc.). The game is not gory (as it does not depict blood) and  it has a word filter to try and make it suitable for players of all ages.

Every new character starts off as the novice class until the character reaches level 10. At this point players can choose from one of six permanent class changes (job advancements): Warrior, Monk, Archer, Rogue, Mage, or Priest. Each class has their own set of skills and can later advance again (at level 30) to one of two choices that vary depending on the class chosen at level 10. Each set of classes uses a certain stat and usually a secondary or third stat that helps distinguish them from other classes and builds.

Wind Slayer was a free (with optional payments) 2D side-scrolling MMO that was comparable to other side scrolling MMORPGs such as MapleStory and Ghost Online in many ways. It was shutdown in August, 2011.

As with many MMOs the game attempts to give players many ways to interact with one another (friend lists, team or solo player versus player fighting, trading, etc.).
