Mission Objectives[edit | edit source]

NOTE: This mission requires a tech to be present in the squad.

Access the Inner Perimeter[edit | edit source]

The red marker shows the inner perimeter access points.

Briefing: Dropship Bloodhound will dock at the outer Landing Bay. Your squad must perform a sweep of the immediate area and gain access to the inner perimeter. We expect the doors in this section to be locked, so a Technical Engineer will be mission critical to bypass the security locks.

Upon arriving at the colony, your team must first breach the inner perimeter. Follow the linear path to the north leading to two sealed doors. Along the way you'll find some boxes blocking your path; either shoot them (Mouse left click) or use a mêlée attack on them (Mouse right click) to clear the path. Head upward, pick either door, and have a tech bypass the lock. You have successfully accessed the inner perimeter.

Download the Flight Data[edit | edit source]

The derelict escape pod is located at the far north end of the map. The level exit is in a nearby room to the east.

Briefing: IAF Command needs flight data on all vessels that departed from Vereon XII within the last 90 days. Our readings show there's an unused escape pod in Landing Bay 7 that is still linked to the colony's traffic control systems. Have a Technical Engineer break into the system and download all flight data.

After breaching the perimeter, you'll be faced with a small horde from both the northwest and the east (behind racks of shelves in each case). Move on either through the doors to the north or the western hallway; both lead to the next room. Swarm will attack from the north and west here but there is a barrel in the room that can make short work of many of them. Clear them out and head north, into the hallway, clearing out more swarm with whatever's handy (like a second explosive barrel). The two doors on the west wall of this hallway have been welded shut. If no one brought along a Hand Welder there is one atop a box at the north end of the hall. Open either door to find yourself in a cavernous room spanned by a grid of catwalks.

Swarm will come up from underneath the catwalks here and will continue to trickle in nonstop. Make a run for the exit in the northwest corner of the room and either weld the door shut or place traps/mines to discourage too many swarm from following you. Continue north to the unused escape pod. A tech will need to hack the console here—an event that will also trigger a horde. Set up whatever traps, sentry guns, ammo, and heal beacons you need in order to cover your tech and hold your ground. The bulk of the horde will attack from the west and south with another group coming from the east. The eastern group first has to break down a welded door, however, buying you some time before you have to deal with them. As soon as your tech is done, the objective is too.

Get To the Landing Bay Exit[edit | edit source]

Briefing: After downloading the flight data, access the lower level using the cargo elevator to the north. Proceed to the colony to perform search and rescue.

When the eastern attackers break down the door, mow through them and make a beeline through the doorway and off to the east. The Landing Bay exit lies just beyond a small hallway in which you'll encounter a few Swarm Drones and some explosive barrels. Get past them and you're in the clear.
